The Eco Fashion Festival at the lavera Showfloor 2013 at Umspannwerk Alexanderplatz opened with an audience of around 3800 on the first day
The lavera Opening Show on 16.01.2013 started a little behind schedule – as it was somewhat more time-consuming than expected to transform Magdalena Brzeska, Eva Habermann, Christine Neubauer, Annabelle Mandeng and Mariella Ahrens as well as Bernhard Bettermann into works of art.
It was lavera’s idea to present the basic theme of the event, i.e. sustainability, as live art on the catwalk and to herald the start of the Eco Fashion Festival in a very charming and particularly beautiful way. The design artist Katell Gelebart, who was recently awarded the Töpfer Prize, was won over to achieve this, and created works of art for lavera made of old sachet foils and tubes.
Let nature shine – says the lavera Song – and exactly that could not be overlooked from the Opening Day onwards. The prominent models enchanted the audience and delighted the photographers. A veritable lightning storm of flashes from the cameras provided exactly the kind of atmosphere for which the lavera Showfloor stands: Green Glamour that glitters.
Additional News: It was Eva Habermann’s birthday, and in addition, lavera Natural Cosmetics received the award: Green Brand Germany
